Gem war

It is a lot of questoins about the gem war, we know little about it and have not seen a lot of clips from it.
But, although we havn't, it's still a lot of good fanart and fanimatoins

Why is Connie able to fuse?

I've always thought it is a little strange that Steven is able to fuse and shapeshift. It's said that if Steven gets really hurt, he won't poof, he will die. H eis half gem, but I feel like it is a bit strange that he can just strech his body, or form into another being... But, enough of that


Steven is able to fuse with Connie, bc he is halv gem half human. But how is Connie able to let go of her form and fuse?



In indirect kiss, Connie drinks the rest of Steven's juice. Steven's healing spit cures her eyes, but after that moment, Connie's been able to do a lot of wierd magicstuff. She has a great swordarm and she is able to fuse. So, the theory is, did Connie drink some of Steven's spit (it's disgusting, I know, sorry). Steven drank from the straw first, then Connie, so she kind of got a little peice of Steven, a gem, inside her. After that she was able to fuse.


I really like this theory, IT'S NOT MINE, and I hope you got something to think about.

Pearl theory

So, what if Pearl is defective. I've heard this theory a lot, and I think it is really interessting.
When the crystal gems first met Jasper, she called Pearl defective. It's probably just beacouse she joined the crystal gems.


But her gem is different from the other Pearls.









Both yellow and blue Pearl's gem is a perfect circle, but our Pearl's gem is more oval formed.
We've also never seen Pearl shapeshift.






I feel like this theory can be true, but there is a lot of theories out there tho
