So I have a small theory that might be intressting
It wasn't Rose who shattered Pink Diamond. It was Pearl, shapeshiftet into Rose. Thats why she never shapeshifts. And look at her.
And in the episode where Amethyst and Garnet shapeshifts into Steven, Pearl doesn't want to shapeshift. She says that: "Of course I can shapeshift.", but she never does it, becouse she want to forget what happend? She don't want to think about Pink Diamond and what she did to her.
I really like this theory, I feel like this actually could be true
